It has been over a year since I last sent a newsletter. Isn’t that awful. I promise to do better.

The family is all fine. My oldest daughter and her husband at still in Lolo, MT. My second daughter and her girls are in Ft. Scott, KS and my youngest and her family are in Colorado, Springs. My granddaughter and great granddaughter are also in Ft. Scott. My oldest grandson is in Iraq.

I have been busy. I am rewriting the Tabernacle Bible study and have just completed my first novel for children. I submitted that manuscript last Friday.

This lat december I fell and broke my elbow. It was bad enough I needed an articifical one. It was been most painful and very difficult to not have use of my right hand. Things are better and getting better every day. We have seen a great blessing in the healing. The doctors are totally surprised at the movement I have. They were sure Iwould be very limited and God has seen to it that I have lost no motion or movement of my arm at all. I still need to gain strength in it, but that is just a matter of time.

Because of the novel and my arm, I put my speaking ministry on hold. I am now getting things ready to resume what God has called and prepared me to do.

I do have several prayer requests (1) That the re-start ministry will go well. (2) That the novel will be published. (3) That the re-writing of the Tabernacle goes well. (3) Grant’s safety in Iraq. (4) And that God’s Will will be done in all my endeavors. Micah 6:8

Blessings, Carol

The wedding is the last day of this month. I am getting close, but still have several things yet to do. We need to make one more flower basket, (she has three flower girls) and I still need to make her veil. There is one more bridesmaid’s dress to hem and then it is just a matter of getting everything together and getting it to the wedding chapel.

I spoke at the Mother/Daughter Banquet at the Hiattville Methodist Church on the 10th. I was pleased to be able to be there. I spent one week each summer when I was a little girl in Hiattville. I would visit my dad’s cousin and thought it was a great adventure to be there.

We will be moving my daughter and her new family to Colorado Springs, Co in June. July will be the “Get Real Weekend,” in Rushville. Hope to see you there. In August I will be in Tulsa, OK and September will find me in Siloam Springs, Ar.

We also plan on doing lots of traveling this summer. We probably won’t go far, even if our RV does get good gas mileage, at almost $4 a gallon it is still expensive. The first week of June, our new Smart Car is to arrive. The Smart Car is really just half a car. It does not have a back seat nor a trunk. There is room for two people and that is all. It is suppose to get 40 miles (or better) to the gallon. We are looking forward to having it.

Have a wonderful and blessed summer.

Yours for Christ,

Carol

Can you believe it is April already. I am so glad that spring is springing. The rain, I could do without. March was really a wet month for just about everyone.

My calender has been filling up. I am so excited about it. God is really blessing in this area. All of the ones on the schedule are ones that I am sure will be a great blessing to me. When I talk to the event planners, I can usually tel what the kind of people will be there. So far they are all going to be great. Please pray tha I will be a blessing to each one in attendance and that they will have and change in their lives from learing something God has given to me for them.

May will be a big month for us. Our youngest daughter is getting married on the thirty-first. I will be getting two new grandchildren at the same time. Zaine is seven and Kylie is nine. The only proplem I see is that they will all be moving to Colorado Springs, Co. in June. My daughter will start her internship in September. She is just one year from getting her PHD in phycology. Pray for her as she begins all these new things in her life, all at the same time.

Contact me if I can help in any of your upcoming events. God Bless and have a great April.

Blessings, Carol
